Yes, I know. You all thought this was gonna be Rita. But it's not. It's Stella!! Lately around here it's been Rita, Rita, Rita. (If you're old enough - think Marsha, Marsha, Marsha from the Brady Bunch as you say that) š
A few of you have asked if we survived our few days with dad and Rita wrote a short reply on her post. But I wanna set the record straight.
As for the beer - yes, dad's lame and said we didn't have any beers in the frig. We so didn't believe him BUT dad's actually pretty cool. He made drinks especially for us and let Rita name them. So, naturally, she called them Margaritas (that's her full name). Yes, they were yummmmy! We even put salt on them. Then dad said Rita could have as many as she wanted so we just filled up our water bowl with this new drink.š®
Next thing you know, Rita was dancing on the table, swinging her harness around, and singing Sweet Caroline. She thought she was a rock star but I was laughing my ass off. Anyways...she was having a grand ole time until her vision got blurry and she started sluuuuuring her words. Then she fell down, scraped her chin and then...Good night! Next day was ruff (š) but she slept it off and is doing fine.
Yesterday, mom and dad took us to a really fun, small town called Littleton. We found a cool store that sold dog treats. It was like the candy stores that dad goes in where you take a bag and add whatever you want. Mix and match until your heart's content and pay way more than you should. We're still enjoying those treats!
Now, here's the part that Rita wasn't gonna tell ya. We stopped for lunch at this fun Mexican restaurant.

We had a nice table on the patio. It was "$5 Margarita Monday" so mom and dad ordered a few.

Well...little miss "I'm All Grown Up Now" (aka Rita) decided to have one too. Kept asking mom to take her picture. I was over it but...

For $5 each, mom and dad decided to have another round so, of course, Rita did too. Then she got that glossy look in her eyes. That's when I grabbed the camera but she wouldn't look at me. š

And then...

Who's laughing now? I'm totally loving my sister!
