We continue to make slight adjustments to our itinerary as we go. We made the decision to come into Madison a day early and it turned out to be the right decision. We've had a blast the last three days!

Madison Campground is nothing fancy but it had everything we needed including easy access to highways to get to places we wanted to go. I found a super cool, local race track (Madison Speedway) that had racing on Friday night. I was so stoked! For you race fans that are following along - it's a 1/2 mile paved oval and Matt Kenseth was the 1994 track champion. Melissa stayed home with the girls and I enjoyed the evening at the track. Perfect summer night and there was a great fireworks show after the races. So fun!
Dane County Farmers Market is the nation's largest farmers market and it's held in Madison Capital Square every Saturday morning during the summer months. So we headed downtown to check it out. It's PACKED with people but we enjoyed it and checked out the capital building while there. We had lunch reservations but we were a little early so we decided to grab a cocktail at the bar. And this is when it got INTERESTING!! I can't help but laugh while I write this. 😂😂 We're just chillin' at the bar when....I think I'll just let the video speak for itself. I'm not even gonna say anything else. Just go to the "Pictures" tab and check out Madison, WI. Trust me, you'll know when you get to the right video.😕🤣
Stopped for some ice cream and played Connect Four while checking out the rest of Capital Square. Then back to Betty for dinner.
Sunday morning started with a 90 minute couples massage at a really nice, local spa that Melissa had scheduled as a belated Father's Day Gift. Then lunch and pool time before an afternoon gym workout. In the evening we took the girls to Boneyard, the coolest dog park ever! Full bar, food truck, music, games, and a huge, fenced in grass area for the dogs. Dogs are welcome off leash anywhere on the property. Rita has become quite the little vixen and may have found her latest boyfriend.

We'll be out of here early tomorrow since we're gonna spend the afternoon in Green Bay on our way to Door County. Thanks for following along. Keep the comments coming and make it a great week.

The video, ewww. Nasty bike seat rash is what comes to mind.
Beautiful countryside and state capital! The Midwest is gorgeous in the spring time and early summer. Looks like the four of you are having a lifetime of memories 💗💗
Ok, just watched the video….what the hell was that all about?? That could not be comfortable!
