Note to self and all the rest of you: No need to spend much time in Billings, MT. Worked fine for a layover but downtown is pretty sketchy.

On a positive, the KOA in Billings is top notch. VERY well maintained with lots of amenities. We were only there one night so we didn't have time to take advantage of everything but Melissa loved the dog park. Enough stuff that you could have done agility training. Best amenity that we did take advantage of was the 18 hole championship golf course. Notice the four-legged fans in the gallery.

Wyoming was the second state we've been in with an 80 mph speed limit. Woohoo! Gitty up! Betty was cruisin' at 90 mph. NOT!! But we did hit 74 at one point. 60-65 is just fine and enjoyable for everyone. No rush when you're retired.

Decided to break one of our travel rules and go all the way to Hill City, South Dakota. 347 mile travel day. Interstate 90 is a fantastic highway. Literally spend 6 hours on it over the past two days.

On our way, we stopped in Sheridan, WY at a sweet dog park that Melissa found for the girls. Check out Rita's new boyfriend! We hadn't seen her this excited in a LONG time. Now we're worried that she's gonna act like a depressed teenager that thinks she left her future husband behind.

It was rainy when we arrived at Larsson's Crooked Creek RV Resort (Hill City, SD) but we still managed to sit out and make smores when the rain stopped. Gotta feeling we're gonna love this place so expect details and lots of pictures on my next post.
