Quick update on Rita!

Mom went home for a few days. To do what? You probably guessed it. To celebrate a few birthdays with her girlfriends. 🍾🍷

So you know what that means! It's Rita and Stella's turn to write.

Hi everyone! Rita and Stella here. We're gonna keep it short but we know that many of you like to know that we're doin' ok. All is well with us!

When mom leaves for a few days, she makes sure that food is stocked up. Loads of food for dad and us, including treats. Dad jokes that she must be worried that we'll still be alive when she returns in 48 hours. If for some crazy reason, mom had to be gone for a week, we'd still be ok with food. We are all very appreciative of that.

We miss mom but it's cool hangin' with dad. We still get fed. We still get treats. We still get walks. We still get play time. And we still get to watch baseball and football. Been some great baseball games in the last few days.

Mainly we wanted to give you an update on Rita. We had our monthly vet visit in Branson and Rita got good news. The medicine she's been taking is working and her liver counts have dropped significantly! Still a little high but no ultrasound needed and she'll probably be able to get her dental work done.

We have TOTALLY adapted to RV life. We don't get bothered by ANYTHING including crowds, boats, cars, day care, baths, travel days, other dogs, etc. We get compliments all the time about how well behaved we are. We stay with a Rover couple the other night and we heard them tell mom that they "have watched thousands of dogs and Rita and Stella are the nicest dogs they've ever watched". That deserves an ice cream! Believe mom and dad when they tell you that we're truly living our best lives. There have been lots of squirrels at our last two stops and Stella wants to chase every one of them. She gets a little sad when we leave. But then we get to the next place and it's game on again.

That's it for now. Enjoy the weekend!
