Two posts in 24 hours! Crazy huh? I think I did that once earlier in our adventure. I've been a little behind, but I'm caught up now.

I know what you're thinking: Where the heck is Marble Falls, TX? Never heard of it. Honestly, neither had we until our good friend, Kristi, built a home there. It's about 2 hours north of San Antonio and an hour west of Austin. Pretty much on our way so we couldn't pass up the chance to hang out for a few days.

Kristi just finished building her beautiful home and, although it's not directly on the water, she has a lake view. Lake Marble Falls is fed by the Colorado River so there is plenty of boating activities. We didn't get out on the water but we enjoyed lunch on the lake, a yummy steak dinner, and lots of time to catch up and play Rummikub!

There's a few more pics in the "Pictures" section.

Marble Falls was also a good place to get Betty serviced and cleaned up. She's purring like a kitten and looks good, so we spent a couple nights and headed for Austin. Pecan Grove is definitely not the type of RV park that we prefer but we chose it for location. Everywhere we wanna go is a short walk, bike ride or Uber. I'm sure I'll have lots of details and pictures in my next post.

I'll leave you with one thought: Life is short. Make time for friends! It literally takes less than 30 seconds to text "Thinking of you", but I bet it'll make their day.

Until next time....
